SCOUT & NIMBLE COVID-19 SHIPPING PROJECTIONS

As we spend more time at home, you’ll be looking to add some coziness to your space – or maybe it’s time to invest in that new sofa! Whether your purchase is large or small, we’ve outlined some COVID-19 shipping projections* so that you have an idea of when to expect items purchased.

*Timeframes listed below are estimates and are subject to change.

COVID-19 SHIPPING PREPARATION - ALL SHIPMENTS

Due to a high volume of orders, shipping preparation may take longer than normal.

In-stock items may take up to 30 business days to ship. Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email notification with tracking information. Please allow 24-72 hours for tracking to activate.

NOTE: If your item is on backorder, your order will not begin processing until it has arrived back in stock. Made-to-order products have an extended lead time to allow for production. Posted production/restocking/backorder dates are estimates, and availability is always subject to change.

SMALL PARCEL SHIPMENTS

Small parcel shipments will spend approximately 10 - 15 business days in transit. 

NOTE:

  • Some shipments may require a signature
  • Items ordered together are not always shipped in the same box.
  • Scout & Nimble does not ship items to P.O and A.P.O boxes at this time.

FREIGHT SHIPMENTS

Freight shipments will spend approximately 5 - 8 weeks in transit. All freight shipments require a signature; you will be contacted directly to schedule final delivery.*

Many freight items must be delivered to a local fulfillment center first so that your item can be safely unloaded from the carrier. 

Once your item has arrived at the fulfillment center, you can expect a call, text, or email within 7 to 10 business days to schedule final delivery to your home.

Promotional pricing is only offered during the sale period. Please note that canceling an existing order to secure the promotional pricing may push you to the back of the queue for any back-ordered products. Existing orders that are being prepared for shipment are no longer eligible for price adjustments.

 

To determine whether your item(s) require Standard Shipping or Freight Shipping, please reference the Shipping and Returns tab located on individual product pages. 

Some product pages will provide an estimated delivery date for the item; please note this is only our very best estimate and there is no guarantee the product will arrive in stock by this exact date.

SMALL PARCEL SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Free Shipping on Standard Orders over $250; $19.95 shipping fee on Standard Orders under $250.

STANDARD SHIPPING 

Unless otherwise noted*, all products that are in stock and can ship via UPS or FedEx will ship within 3-5 business days. Once shipped, please allow 5-10 business days for delivery.

 *Products that are made to order will require an extended order processing period before the item ships. Please email our Customer Care team at support@scoutandnimble.com if you have any questions regarding products that are made to order.

STANDARD DELIVERY

In some cases, timelines for order processing can be up to 15 business days, as well there may be a delay from when your shipping label is created to when the carrier picks up the item. 

Once your order has shipped, you will receive an email with tracking. Please allow up to 2 business days for your tracking to activate if it has not when you received your email. Once in transit, it can take up to 5-10 business days for your item to arrive at your home. No signature is required for items shipped via FedEx or UPS. In the event of a delay, we will notify you by email as soon as we have more information.

FREIGHT SHIPPING & DELIVERY

Free shipping on Freight Orders over $500; $49.95 shipping charge on Freight Orders under $500.

FREIGHT SHIPPING

FREIGHT DELIVERY

All oversized and fragile items will ship using a freight carrier. Freight shipping is the preferred shipping method for these products to ensure they reach you safely. In some cases, timelines for order processing can be up to 15 business days, as well as a delay from when your shipping label is created and when the carrier picks up the item. Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email with tracking. Please allow 3-5 weeks for the item to arrive at your local fulfillment center. After the item has arrived at your local fulfillment center, they will contact you via phone, email, or text to schedule a delivery date and time that works for you. All Freight Delivered items will require a signature for delivery, if you opt to waive this and are not home at the time of delivery all rights to a claim will be waived.

FREIGHT TRACKING & FINAL DELIVERY

Most freight items ship to a local fulfillment center in your area due to the size and nature of the way freight is shipped. The tracking provided to you will show “delivered” once it arrives at the local fulfillment center. You can expect a call, text, or email within 7-10 business days of delivery to set up the final delivery to your home.

 

WHITE GLOVE DELIVERY (Only Available for Select Freight Items) 

White-Glove Delivery is an additional $165 flat fee. 

White-Glove delivery includes:

  • Inside delivery of the item(s) to the room of your choice
  • Unpacking of the shipment
  • Assembly of all items
  • Placing of the items in your home
  • Debris removal

PLEASE NOTE: 

  • The delivery team will not perform major installation, including but not limited to; electrical wiring, plumbing, or any services requiring the use of power tools.
  • Not all items are eligible for White Glove Delivery, and not all delivery services offer White Glove.
  • White Glove delivery entails one final delivery to your home, of all products purchased.
  • At this time we do not ship to any P.O or A.P.O boxes, or anywhere outside of the contiguous United States.

***Update on in-home deliveries through White Glove as of January 10, 2022.

Due to the recent resurgence in reported COVID-19 cases nationwide, we have received notices from some of our shipping and delivery partners informing us that they are putting a hold on all in-home White Glove deliveries.

What does this mean for you and the delivery of your item?
Shipping and delivery companies are still delivering items to homes. In most locations across the country, they will continue to provide in-home White Glove services.

However, if your area is affected:

  • You will be notified by the delivery company at the time of the scheduling of the delivery of your item.
  • The delivery service will be downgraded to a Threshold Delivery to the exterior of the home and you will be refunded any White Glove Fees that were paid at the time of checkout.

This is only temporary and is only occurring in certain areas. Thank you for your understanding and please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions or concerns.
