We don’t know about you, but we just can’t get enough of Tri Delta Traditional. Today on the blog we are introducing you to the foyer, a charming entryway that will be making incredible first impressions for years to come. Come on in and meet the Tri Delta Traditional Foyer.

For many young women, this foyer will be the first part of the house they ever see. From recruitment to move-in day, we wanted this to be a welcoming space that represents the sisters of Tri Delta, their values, and the style of the home. The home is a beautiful greek revival built in 1924. It features four two-story columns and beautiful millwork around the front door and flanking french doors

The french doors cast so much beautiful sunlight into the foyer and we wanted to maintain that feeling of warmth. Plastic blinds were replaced by less bulky cordless shades that still allow plenty of light to seep in. The blinds are also better for frequent use since standard blinds are easily tangled and thrown off-kilter. 

The real attention grabber in this entryway? The checkered porcelain floors. They mimic marble beautifully without the hassle or the price + they are more resistant to scuffs and scratches. Because we had so much room to play with, we selected large 24x24 tiles to really show off the scale of this room. The final result? A totally glamorous look that will age beautifully with the rest of the home. 

The central piece of this foyer is the Lucy Round Dining Table. We love how she matches so beautifully with the checkered floors. To keep the room from being too overwhelmingly black and white, we included an ultra plush gray and sage rug. You can find a similar option here. The Lucy Table was also paired with two matching custom Gayle Benches. It’s the perfect spot for the sisters to check their mail or take a quick note in planner. 

Playing with height is the secret ingredient to styling a foyer table. The tallest element on this table is the Blue & White Yuan Sunflower Jar, styled here with white gladiolus. A Busan White Orchid Bowl, filled to the brim with moss, sits next to the Sunflower Jar. Its complimentary white glaze stands out on the marble tabletop but doesn’t distract from the pattern of the jar. 

The last detail you’ll find on the Lucy Table is a guestbook, held open with a lovely set of blush Vintage Sea Glass Beads. Between alumnae visiting their old campus home and family members getting the grand tour for Parent’s Weekend, we hope to see this guest book filled with so many happy memories. 

Gleaming in aged brass above it all is the Dillon Chandelier. With nine lights and silky white shades, good lighting will never be in short supply. While this chandelier might look traditional, its thin arms are contemporary with their soft curves and sudden upward momentum.

The Carter Dining Bench is nestled in with a fiddle fig tree by the stairs. The curved back and legs are so pretty and fit perfectly with the architectural curve of the railings above. The cotton upholstery makes it so easy to clean. We paired the Carter Dining Bench with a set of custom upholstered pillows that have the prettiest floral chinoiserie pattern. 

At the far end of the room, you’ll see the Watson Dresser. It’s the perfect place to stash anything a girl might need as she walks out the door. When the sun sets, the Colton Table Lamp casts a friendly glow around the room, lighting up the Blue & White Temple Jar. The blue tones in the jar are brought out even more through the Vintage Sea Glass Beads. 

Above it all is a beautiful set of watercolor artwork. Countryside Art II and Countryside Art VI portray different rural scenes with colors that you can see reflected in the other styling pieces around the room. There are six pieces in this art collection, meaning you can enjoy the same color-play in your own home.
