In my second "From Passion to Profession" post, I dive beyond technical skills to explore how you can discover your unique design purpose. I share how transforming challenges into strengths shaped my approach (like that kitchen table meeting that revolutionized my documentation!), the magic that happens in collaborative creativity, and why aligning your business with personal values matters more than following industry trends.

Comment From Alison Celmer:
These first two posts really resonate with me, and my unique journey that brought me back to design. I started my career in residential interior design, then I transitioned into the field of education, and eventually became an elementary principal. I recently decided to take a step back from that role (for SO many reasons), and launched my own design company this past January. It's just getting off the ground, and I am definitely under-estimating my rates. I can't wait to build momentum - thank you for sharing your story :)
