Atrium Round Dining Table

A fluted column base drawn from Roman architecture, carrying a top in hand rubbed blackened sable with brown undertones. The fluting is the whole argument for the base: at this mass a plain column would read as a pedestal, and the channels give it depth under a light. Heavily grained wood throughout, so the grain stays visible under the dark glaze. Measures 84 inches wide by 64 deep by 30.3 high. Weighs 334 pounds, so set the base before the top goes on.
