Masculine and feminine elements combine to create this beautiful master bedroom.

A dark paneled oak bed makes a strong statement when it anchors this bedroom. Continuing the masculine look is the cowhide that I would place at an angle at the foot of the bed. The teak Highboy begins the transition to a softer palette but continues the natural wood theme. Blending the two colors of wood is the lovely San Giorgio chandelier that hangs in the center of the room. Note the beautiful decorative chain in the middle of the fixture. A softer touch is introduced with the feminine slipcovered chair. Sit your morning coffee on the tree trunk table and read by the light of the Thomas lamp. The contemporary magazine holder keeps reading material handy. No excuse for not keeping up with the latest design trends! A pair of painted white chests beside the bed keep the room from feeling too heavy. Accessorize as shone with a mirror over each to bounce the light from the "Acting" lamp. Note that the dark lamps sit on the light chest and the lighter lamp sits on the natural wood table to create a rhythm and tension within the space. Again, colors look totally different on line but walls are Mineral Deposit, Trim is Front Porch and Ceiling is Silverpointe.
