Theodore Faux Bamboo Wall Mirror

Faux bamboo is one of those details that looks like a flourish and behaves like a neutral. Here it frames a 30 by 45 inch mirror in wood, with beveled glass to give the edge definition. It is the kind of mirror that works in a chinoiserie scheme and equally in a plain one, which is why the motif has lasted. The D-ring hanger takes it either way. Hang it above a console, in a bedroom, or in a bathroom where the faux bamboo keeps the room from feeling purely practical.
