Seashore Vase Short

A shell-form vase, 9.25 inches long and six tall, under an antique crackle glaze in cream. The crackle is subtle enough to read as age rather than damage, which is a narrow line for a finish like this to walk. The generous scale is what keeps a shell motif from feeling like a seaside souvenir; at a smaller size the same shape would. Clay, handcrafted, so the crackle pattern differs on every piece.
