Sailmaker Console Table

Sixteen inches deep is what makes a 72 inch console work in a hallway, wide enough to hold something, narrow enough to walk past with a laundry basket. At 32 inches high it sits at counter reach, so it doubles as a drop zone behind a sofa or inside an entry. Two drawers take keys and mail out of sight. The White Painted Linen finish layers crisp white paint over woven linen, which reads softer than a flat lacquer in daylight. The top holds up to 60 pounds, so keep the heavy stone lamp somewhere else.
