Overbury Grey Oak Breakfast Table

A square table in oak with a greyed finish and a crown cut top, from the William Yeoward collection — drawn from a family piece that lived in a nursery and got used for breakfast every morning. Crown cut takes the veneer through the centre of the log, so the figure arches outward from the middle. Measures 54 inches square by 29.5 high, seating four comfortably and six close. A square top puts everyone equidistant, which changes how a meal runs. Weighs 186 pounds.
