The armless barrel design keeps the footprint tight at 27 inches across and 28.5 deep, which is why it works pulled up to a coffee table or paired in a spot that will not take arms. The seat is unusually wide for the frame at 25 inches, sitting 19 inches off the floor, and the back is tight so the barrel curve holds. At 54 pounds it is the lightest piece in the range and genuinely movable. The frame is furniture-grade laminated hardwood, interlocked and then glued, stapled and screwed. The green fabric is 97% polyester with 3% linen; it is non-performance and cleans with water only.
