Lavinia Bud Vases, Set Of 2

Two bud vases at 5.75 and 4.75 inches, with sculpted bodies under a thickly applied reactive white glaze. Bud vases work in pairs because a single stem on its own looks stranded, and these two differ enough in height to avoid the deadness of perfect symmetry. The glaze pools where the sculpted body dips, so the surface is never flat. Hand-finished ceramic, so the glaze depth varies between the two and between sets.
