Jute Coil Oval Placemats, Set Of 8

Eight oval placemats coiled from jute, 17.5 by thirteen inches, in natural with rust worked into the coil. The rust carries a table through autumn without looking out of place in June, which is the practical argument for it over anything more obviously seasonal. Oval follows the line of a place setting better than a rectangle. A quarter inch thick, enough to take a hot plate. Hand-coiled, so each spiral runs slightly differently across the set of eight.
