Seat and back cushions are both loose, the back filled with a 50/50 down and feather blend in down-proof ticking, baffled so it holds its shape. Covers are removable and reversible. The frame is furniture-grade laminated hardwood, interlocked and then glued, stapled and screwed, which is where the chair's 98 pounds comes from and why it stays square. Outside arms and back are padded. The forest green performance fabric is a polyester blend, cleaned with solvent or a mild detergent.
