Burma Rattan Scalloped Edge Bowl

A bowl in tight-woven rattan, 13.25 inches across and just over five deep, with a scalloped rim cut by hand. Shallow enough for fruit on a kitchen counter, deep enough to take keys and post by a door, which is a more useful range than either extreme. The scalloping is the only decoration and it is enough on a form this plain. Graywash finish over the signature tight weave. Woven in Myanmar. Interior use.
