Burma Rattan Oval Cachepot

An elongated oval cachepot, 19.75 inches long and under nine deep, with a hand-cut scalloped rim. The narrow proportion is the useful part: it suits a dining table runner or a windowsill where a round pot of the same capacity would not fit at all. Warm brown over the signature tight weave. Woven in Myanmar by makers working a technique handed down through generations. Interior use, dust with a soft cloth.
