Modern Coastal (page 2)

"Modern coastal is about the feeling of the coast, not the souvenirs. This collection leans on texture and tone: weathered and bleached woods, slipcovered linen, woven lighting and sun-washed blues and sands, so a room reads relaxed and collected rather than themed. Start with a slip sofa like the Nantucket 84'' or a softer Bernhardt Grace Fabric Sofa and build out from there. The Honolua Bay Dining Table, the Cabo Linear Chandelier and the Makena 1-Light Pendant bring that easy, open feeling to the dining room, while the Naples Linen King Blanket in Ocean / Natural and striped pillow covers finish a coastal bedroom. Stripe grasscloth wallpaper and the Club Handmade Striped Silver Rug add pattern without leaning on anchors and shells. Coastal style carries well outside, too. The Loom Outdoor Arm Chairs and the Fenn Striped Amalfi Outdoor Chair connect a porch or patio to the rooms inside it. Mix two or three natural textures with one crisp stripe and you'll have a coastal home that feels right in any season and any zip code."
