Whitby Lounge Chair

Drawn from the recliner chairs that lined the conservatories of British seaside guesthouses, where people went to take the sea air. An elegantly shaped sloping frame in oak with a greyed finish. Seat sits 14.13 inches high — very low, which is what a proper lounge chair requires. Measures 27.25 inches wide by 41 deep by 42.13 high. At 41 inches deep this is built to recline in rather than sit up in. From the William Yeoward collection.
