Stratford Coffee Table

Tramp-style carvings across the surface, in oak with a greyed finish. Tramp work is a folk tradition of layered chip carving, and using it on a current piece is what gives this its artisanal read rather than a factory one. Measures 56 inches wide by 28 deep by 18 high, which suits a standard three-seat sofa. From the William Yeoward collection, alongside the Stratford console and end tables, which carry the same carving. Weighs 99 pounds.
