Both cushions are loose, and the back carries a 50/50 down and feather fill in down-proof ticking, baffled so the fill cannot migrate and flatten on one side. Covers are removable and reversible, which makes rotating wear straightforward. The frame is furniture-grade laminated hardwood, interlocked and then glued, stapled and screwed, with padded outside arms and back so those panels stay smooth. The khaki performance fabric is a polyester blend and takes either a water or solvent-based cleaner.
