Oyster Cut Buffet

Seventy-eight inches of storage that gives up only 20.5 inches of depth, which is what makes it work in a dining room where a deeper cabinet would crowd the chairs. Three drawers sit above three doors, and the center drawer comes fitted with a silverware tray so flatware stops living in the kitchen. Behind the right door, two adjustable shelves reverse into wine storage, meaning the same cabinet holds serving pieces one season and bottles the next. Arroyo white oak, sun-washed with soft grain variation, carries an oyster-cut detail. Thirty-six inches high, the standard serving height.
