The outer face of the back is where the work went. An oyster-cut veneer pattern faces the room, which matters because the side of a dining chair people see most is the one turned away from the table. A 38-inch overall height lends the room some vertical line without crowding a low ceiling. Performance polyester covers the seat and inside back, and the 19.5-inch seat height sits correctly under a 30-inch table. Arroyo white oak, sun-washed with soft grain variation, runs through the tapered legs. Seat depth measures 21.5 inches, built for a long meal. Rated to 250 pounds.

warranty:
For a period of one year after date of shipment, the manufacturer (HOOKER FURNITURE CORPORATION), after inspection by its authorized representative, will have repaired locally or replaced, as determined by HOOKER FURNITURE CORPORATION, any item that is found to be defective due to faulty workmanship or material. This guarantee applies only if furniture is stored and used under normal conditions.
finish construction:
Hooker Furniture utilizes a multiple-step finish process of up to 16 finish steps. This results in an unsurpassed clarity, depth and color richness and durability to our finishes. Through hand-craftsmanship such as rubbing and padding, our finishes feel as good as they look, with a smoothness that is delightful to the touch.
frame construction:
Hooker Furniture uses carefully chosen solid wood and select wood veneers over durable wood products in our furniture construction. Use of veneers enables more decorative looks unattainable with solid wood. Veneers are used over durable wood products such as medium density fiberboard (MDF) and particle board, made of renewable resources. MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
