Mission Bay Upholstered Bed

A channeled headboard on a wood plinth base, which is the pairing that keeps a platform bed from looking like a mattress on a box. The channels give the upholstery a vertical rhythm, so a wide headboard has something to read at a distance. Arroyo is a sun-washed white oak with soft grain variation, light enough to sit against a white wall without disappearing. The performance polyester cover handles a bedroom that gets used. Headboard, footboard and rails included. Queen and king, both 60 inches tall, the lowest of the beds here.
