Marseille Counter Chair

Twenty-four inches of seat height is the standard measurement for a 36-inch counter, and this one arrives with a cushioned seat and back rather than wood, which is the difference between sitting for ten minutes and sitting through dinner. It swivels, so a seat pulled up to an island can turn toward the room without anyone dragging the legs across the floor. The upholstery is 85 percent polyester and 15 percent linen in beige. Tapered white oak legs in Arroyo, sun-washed with soft grain variation. A metal-covered footrest takes the shoe wear. Forty inches tall, rated to 250 pounds.
