Josephine Marble Footed Bowl

A footed marble bowl, ten inches across and four deep, honed to a semi-matte finish. The foot lifts it off the surface so the banding in the stone is visible from the side rather than only from directly above, which is the whole argument for a foot on a bowl cut from figured stone. Broad brown lines run through each piece differently, since every bowl is cut from a different part of the block. Solid stone throughout, heavy enough to stay put. Made in India.
