Jacques Martini Table

A small round table in walnut burl veneer, where the burl figure carries the whole piece on a surface this size. Measures 16 inches square by 24 high — martini table scale, meant to pull up beside a chair and hold a glass and nothing else. At 86 pounds it is far heavier than its footprint suggests, so it stays where you put it. Burl never repeats, so no two tops match. From the JC Modern collection.
