Houghton Amber Slat Set King

The slat set for the Houghton bed, in raw pine solid, available in queen or king. Rated to 550 pounds as part of the assembled frame. Slats spread the load across the rails rather than concentrating it, which is what lets a bed carry a mattress without a box spring. Order by bed size rather than mattress size. This is the part to buy if you are replacing broken slats rather than the whole frame, which is usually the cheaper fix.
