With exquisite scale and craftsmanship, the Chapman Writing Desk is crafted of White Oak Veneers in a warm brown Sorrel finish with thin forged pewter metal legs, an X-stretcher back and custom hand-hammered metal drawer pulls. Featuring 3 drawers, the left and right drawers have 2 removable dividers, and the center drawer has a drop-front for keyboard use and a cutout in the back of the drawer for wire management. Thereโs a pencil tray and writing slide for use in either left or right drawer.

MDF and particle board are used in quality furniture for areas that need to be stable, such as large surfaces. These durable wood products do not expand and contract with heat and cold and do not absorb moisture as much as solid wood, which results in stronger and longer-lasting furniture.
