Resin weaves are virtually maintenance free, however; it is recommended to clean the frames on an occasional basis to prevent the build-up of dirt. In extreme climates where temperatures can reach above 100Β°, place furniture in 50% shaded areas. Cover your outdoor furniture with outdoor covers (sold separately) when left outside during inclement weather, and/or store when not in use. Finally, to maintain or restore the luster of your resin wicker, after-market products are available to refresh UV repellency and water repellency β apply as needed.
Teak is unlike any other wood species -its survival outdoors is far superior to others such as mahogany and redwood. It is especially recognized for its high natural oil content which prevents the wood from drying out and therefore not split or crack, making it the premier choice for outdoor furniture, marine & yacht industry.
Caring for your Teak is an individual decision, ranging from periodical cleaning using teak cleaner mixed with warm water. First rinse with water, then scrub the cleaner on following the wood grain pattern using a scrub-pad, then rinse thoroughly with water and let it air dry.
If you wish to preserve the golden color of the natural teak you may treat the furniture with a teak sealer such as Golden Care.
Weathering cracks are small openings primarily found in the βend-grainβ of the wood can occur during the aging process and is to be expected and is not covered by warranty.

This form is available upon request from Sunset West. Products that are defective will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. This is a limited warranty and applies only to the original purchaser through an authorized Sunset West reseller. Sunset West will cover freight charges on replacement orders up to one year of ownership and shipping to the address on the original order.
