Sophisticated Coastal Living Room
I imagine this room with soft creamy white walls, dark grey trim and light grey ceiling. In my mind it has a fireplace and a lot of windows. I would have the short sofa facing the fireplace with a pair of white club chairs facing a pair of grey wing chairs across from each other. The Weston nightstands would serve as end tables on each side of the sofa with a candlestick lamp on each. I would use the Huntingdon Side Table between the white chairs. Sitting in the center of this grouping would be the Loyola Ottoman as a coffee table. I would use the largest version possible of the Scarborough Partridge rug. Hanging majestically above would be the Charlemagne Chandelier. Elsewhere in the room would be the beautifully crafted chest with the small Corinthian lamp on top and the starburst mirror hanging above. Centered over the fireplace would be the contemporary work of art flanked by a pair of candlesticks. As an element of surprise and added texture I would use the teak stool as a side table by the grey chair closest to the fireplace. If space allowed I would use 4 of the bird prints stacked between a pair of windows ( window, 2 prints one over the other, window) on each side of the room. Add black iron drapery rods and soft cream ceiling to floor draperies and you have a room that begs you to enter and bids you stay a while. Enjoy!
