Artsy & Rustic Office Space
The creative in me needs an artsy and inspiring office to work in every day. I decided to pair my love of rustic elements with an artsy vibe in this office design. You could go two completely different directions with this room just by choosing paint color. One option is a tried-and-true white: Benjamin Moore’s Bavarian Cream. I love wood and pops of color against a white wall. Another option if you’re wanting a bit more personality and impact is to go with a very dark wall: Sherwin William’s Sealskin. This room was initially inspired by The Barrett Desk. I love how it combines mid-century lines with the rustic live-edge. I layered on a few other rustic elements with the Palma Pendant and wire and metal desk accessories. The Wickham Wire Dining Chair in white pairs great with the rustic desk. I love mixing modern and rustic elements together for a collected look. For some artsy additions, I decided to rely on a fairly monochromatic color scheme for the large items. I love rooms layered with shades of the same color. It gives a room personality without feeling overwhelming. I pulled shades of teal out in the rug, console, and tie-dye pillow. For a final artsy touch that happens to be my favorite, I brought in some Woodstock Headline Art. I’m feeling inspired and ready to get to work!
